The victim of a fire that all but destroyed a house in Eastlakes this morning believes it was deliberately lit to punish his father. As fire fighters ducked in and out of Frederick Rix’s smoldering three storey Gardeners Rd home, an inconsolable Mark Rix said he knew the cause of the chaos. “Someone’s done it on purpose, they’ve done it to get back at my father deliberately,” he said.
